With the temperatures getting warmer it's
just about time to start going to the beach. Because lets face it, a majority of the year is beach weather in LA. For whatever insane reason, I realized I don't own any cute cover-ups. If you're at all like me, you probably just throw on some denim shorts and a breezy top. To remedy this, I decided to make this really simple cover-up so I'm prepared when I become a beach bum this summer. The great thing is that it's cheap, super quick and you can never have too many cover-ups!

Prep It:
- Sheer fabric of your choice
- Sewing machine or needle & thread
- Thread matching fabric base color
- Scissors
Do It:
- Start out by folding your fabric horizontally
- Cut a hole at the top (where the fabric is folded) for your head to go through
- Next, measure from the fold how wide you want the openings for the arms to be (Mine is 11.5 inches)
- Sew a line from the bottom of the opening straight down
- Hem the bottom if you don't want the fabric to fray and wear it as a tunic
- OR, cut straight down the middle in the front to create an opening and hem both sides
Outfit Deets:
- Bikini: Target
- Watch: Michael Kors
- Belt: H&M
- Earrings: Thrifted
- Sunglasses: Guess
